Gwangan-ri, Gwangan Bridge view, fully equipp
The biggest advantage is the excellent accessibility to Gwangalli Beach. Situated in a prime location right in the center of the beach area, everything is within easy walking distance. Parking at the accommodation is via a mechanical tower system, but there is space for one standard passenger car. Since I drive an electric vehicle, I couldn't use the tower parking, but there is a public parking lot right next door where I could park for 7,500 won a day. However, because it's a popular tourist spot, it fills up quickly on weekends and in the evenings. There is also the Millak Public Parking Lot at the far end of the beach, though it is a bit of a walk. The accommodation was very clean and spacious enough for a family of four (two bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen). From the living room, you have a direct view of the Gwangan Bridge, though it was a bit of a shame that a building in front partially blocked the view. Still, you can see the beach on both sides, so it doesn't feel cramped, and watching the beach scene is enjoyable. You can also comfortably watch the weekend drone show right from inside the apartment. There is a two-person sofa, but the cushions had lost their firmness, making it a bit uncomfortable. The living room table was very large, making it convenient for placing items on besides just using it for dining. The kitchen was also clean, so I had no issues during my stay. These are just a few thoughts from my three-week stay. I would certainly be willing to visit again, and the host was incredibly kind. I was initially unsure about parking my electric vehicle, but the host explained everything clearly and was very helpful. I had a wonderful stay.
