The room/bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient with nice walking areas nearby. The family is respectful, and the host lady was helpful and often offered snacks. However, she seemed very concerned about potential damage or misuse in the house, which made me feel somewhat like I was walking on eggshells. The dogs are very friendly, but they bark excitedly when someone returns home. As a result, guests are expected to come back by 10:30pm and the lights are usually turned off around 10pm. This effectively created a curfew, which was not clearly mentioned in the listing. Had I known this in advance, I wouldn't have chosen this room. I would recommend asking detailed questions before booking, as not all conditions are fully explained in the advertisement.
It's within walking distance to Gwanak Station, and taking the village bus to nearby stations for commuting is not a big problem. This is my first time using a share house, and I thought it would be difficult since it's the owner's house, but I was grateful for their kind response. It was a great help in urgently finding accommodation in Seoul.
