Sorak is a renovated traditional Jeju stone house that preserves original features like rafters, stone walls, and stone fences to showcase the unique charm of Jeju. It is equipped with modern amenities—such as a washer-dryer tower, Wi-Fi, a water purifier, a bidet, and a bathtub—to ensure the comfort and convenience of home. The property offers an exclusive area of approximately 18 pyeong (approx. 60 m²) and features a layout comprising a living room, kitchen, bedroom, dressing room, and two bathrooms. The unit comes fully furnished and equipped, featuring Wi-Fi, a TV with Netflix access, and professional pest control services (Cesco), along with essentials such as pots, a rice cooker, dishes, and cups.
The Ipjeondong bus stop is a 4-minute walk from the house, and buses heading to Jeju City can be boarded at a stop located a 6-minute walk away. An electric bicycle is provided at Sorak for your use when visiting nearby amenities. You can park your vehicle at the entrance of the alley leading to the house; please park alongside the nearby stone field walls.
Upon check-in, the front door lock will be set to your phone number. The 'Sorak User Manual' contains comprehensive information essential for your stay in Jeju, including instructions for household furniture, appliances, lighting, and the heating/hot water system, as well as guidelines on waste disposal and details about nearby restaurants, cafes, tourist attractions, hospitals, and sports facilities.
Sorak is a space designed for you to live comfortably for a month, just like at home. It comes fully equipped with appliances and kitchenware—including a washer/dryer, refrigerator, water purifier, TV, microwave, air fryer, rice cooker, and sets of cutlery and dishes—as well as two sets of bedding. However, personal hygiene items such as towels, shampoo, soap, and toilet paper are not provided; please bring your own or easily purchase them at places like Daiso or Hanaro Mart in Aewol on your way from the airport. Upon checkout, utility costs (electricity, water, etc.) will be deducted from the rental deposit. During your stay, you are responsible for maintaining the house, washing bedding, and cleaning using the provided washer/dryer, vacuum cleaner, and other tools. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. Use of the outdoor table and fire pit is limited to 9 PM to ensure neighbors can sleep and rest undisturbed; we ask for your cooperation in this matter. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. Use of the outdoor table and fire pit is limited to 9 PM to ensure neighbors can sleep and rest undisturbed; we ask for your cooperation in this matter. Additionally, as the property is located in a rural area surrounded by forests and fields, you may encounter insects. While we contract with the professional pest control company 'Cesco' for regular treatments, please keep screen doors and windows closed during the humid monsoon season or summer months.
The rate includes Wi-Fi, electricity, water, and heating costs (kerosene). Please understand that the utility fee increases during the heating season due to the high cost of heating in Jeju. The weekly rate is 100,000 KRW for December–February and 80,000 KRW for October, November, March, and April; this represents an increase of 20,000–40,000 KRW compared to the May–September period, when heating is not required.
