This is a great space for anyone who has always dreamed of staying in a rooftop studio. We recently switched to short-term rentals after a long-term tenant (a university student) moved out. Think of the layout as a studio apartment with a spacious rooftop terrace. While the unit contains everyday items my family actually uses when traveling between Seoul and Wonju (such as towels and a hair dryer), please note that as this is a private rental rather than a hotel, basic toiletries (toilet paper, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.) may not always be provided. We hope you enjoy the experience of open, airy rooftop living here in Wonju. :)
Transportation is excellent. It is a one-minute walk from the back gate of the Sangji University campus.
- As I am sometimes away from Wonju, the move-in process is typically contactless. - I will provide the door lock passcode once your move-in is confirmed. - You are welcome to use the rooftop room facilities and rooftop area freely, provided you return everything to its original, tidy condition after use. - The ideal occupancy is 2 people, with a maximum capacity of 4. Please contact me separately if there are 3–4 people. (Rent remains the same, but the maintenance fee will increase.) - Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. - Please dispose of waste properly using designated bags and recycling guidelines, just as other tenants do.
As it is located in a university area, all essential amenities are available.
Excessive use of electricity or gas may result in additional charges upon checkout. (Especially in winter, if the heating is turned up too high, leading to a massive gas bill...)
The location was excellent, and I loved the open feel of the rooftop unit. The room was spacious and quiet, and there were plenty of convenient amenities nearby.
I'm doing well during my rental.
There's definitely a rooftop romance here. I stayed during the cold winter season, and as instructed, setting the rooftop room's heating to 23-25 degrees made it pleasantly warm. The bedding was provided, so I didn't have to bring my own, which was convenient. I also made sure to separate my trash on the first floor. It felt like being a college student, just like the back gate of Sangji University. I had a good rest for a week. I'll use it again when I come to Wonju next time.
