It’s generally clean, but since it’s a rooftop unit, bugs do show up occasionally. Also, make sure to take photos when you first move in. It was my first time staying there, so I wasn't aware of this, but I was told I had to pay 18,000 won in compensation because the refrigerator's vegetable drawer was broken. Since there was no proof, they ended up deducting the amount from my deposit. I don't have proof either, but doesn't that mean the landlord also lacks proof that I was the one who broke it? It feels a bit unfair.
