Newly opened, 9 minutes from Hongik Universit

My stay in this studio apartment was comfortable, and the host was readily available and incredibly helpful with the immigration paperwork required for my residency card. I lived here for three months, but I feel I should mention a few of the less desirable features of this studio: since it is a semi-basement unit, the bathroom always had a slight odor, and the black mold was impossible to remove. There is a window right above the bed (as shown in the photos), but it faces the main entrance to the building; this means that unless you keep your curtains closed, everyone can see right into your living space. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear almost everything from the neighboring rooms, as well as every car that passes by on the street. Therefore, if you are a light sleeper, this might not be the best option for you. Overall, the location is very convenient, as there is a convenience store just down the hill, and the main gate of Hongik University is truly only 30 seconds away (just as stated in the listing). It is well worth the price!
