This was my first visit to Korea in ten years since moving to the U.S. I initially considered staying in the Jongno or Gwanghwamun area, but because I had a lot of tax and banking matters to attend to, I chose Cheongnyangni instead. I picked this place because it looked so clean in the photos, and I am absolutely delighted with the choice. People often engage in "medical tourism" when visiting Korea from abroad, and my family was no exception; the dentist, optician, and ENT clinicโwhich my wife had researched and booked from the U.S. based on great reviewsโwere all located in the very next building. There was even a dermatology clinic in the same building, an Olive Young next door, and a Daiso right across the crosswalk. Plus, the area is surrounded by apartment complexes and officetels (like Lotte Castle and Hyundai Hillstate), offering easy access to various amenities, a Lotte Mart, and a department store. The highlight, however, was the Gyeongdong Market right across the street, with its countless delicious eateries and snacks. Transportation was incredibly convenient, with Cheongnyangni Station and the bus transfer center all within a one-minute walk; my worry about not bringing an International Driving Permit turned out to be completely unnecessary. The interior was spotless, of course, and the host's thoughtfulness and attention to detail were evident everywhereโit made me wonder if they were charging enough for such a great place. I was concerned about noise since it's on a main road, but being on a high floor meant I didn't hear a thing; in fact, the ventilation was excellent. The only minor downside was having to wait a bit for the elevator due to the high floor. Thank you so much, hostโwe had a wonderful stay.

I lived there for about a month while the interior was being renovated! Haha. There were two rooms and a loft, so I could stay without feeling cramped even with the kids! The appliances were fully equipped, and the host was very kind. It was very convenient to stay there because it was right next to the subway station, close to the department store, and there were many restaurants nearby! Thank you, and I wish you success. โค๏ธ
