This is a fully furnished studio-style officetel located right in front of Deungdae Beach. Our family of four uses this as a weekend getaway, and we rent it out only when we aren't using it ourselves. Most daily necessities are already provided. Since we live in Seoul, guests are required to clean the unit before checking out. The security deposit will be returned after the cleaning is verified. It is stocked with household items just like a regular home, and you are welcome to use anything inside. Bedding for four is provided and laundered regularly; however, if you prefer not to use linens that others have used, we recommend bringing your own. As of July, swimming is permitted at Deungdae Beach!
Seorak Beach Resotel, Unit 6** (148-9 Yeongrang-dong, Sokcho-si) *Please be careful, as the name is similar to "Seorak Beach Town Resotel"! Please enter the exact address into your navigation system to find the location.
Detailed usage instructions will be provided after the booking is confirmed. - Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited indoors. - Pets are not allowed. - The unit uses a portable air conditioner, which generates some noise; please refrain from booking if you are sensitive to noise. - We do not recommend booking if you are extremely particular about cleanliness; the condition is comparable to a standard private home. - To process your checkout and return the security deposit, please send a photo confirming that you have cleaned up before leaving. - Trash bags are located in the cabinet under the sink.
Recommended Tourist Spots (We are recommending only nearby locations, though our family often travels as far as Goseong and Yangyang.) [Within Walking Distance] 1. Deungdae (Lighthouse) Beach 2. Jangsa Port (Features a hands-on fishing experience area) 3. Dongmyeong Port 4. Deungdae Beach Pocha (Street Food Tent) Street 5. Yeongrang Lake (Features a suspension bridge in the middle of the lake and great photo spots; guests often overlook it since it's right next to the accommodation, but it is truly spectacular) 6. Lighthouse Observatory (Free) 7. Yeonggeumjeong Pavilion 8. Museum X 9. Cafe Onda (Lizard-themed cafe near Jangsa Port; kids love it) [By Car (Within ~15 Minutes)] 1. Bada Jeongwon (Cafe with the highest number of visitors in the country) 2. Sokcho Central Market 3. Sokcho Beach (Highly recommend the "Sea of Light" laser show in the evening) 4. Cheongcho Lake 5. Cheoksan Foot Bath Park (Free admission; recommend the pizza-making experience for kids) 6. Mt. Seorak (Skip the cable car; the walk up toward the temple is beautiful enough on its own) 7. Daiso Sokcho Main Branch (A popular tourist spot and the second-largest Daiso in the country; you might wonder why visit Daiso in Sokcho, but it's worth a look) 8. Kensington Seorak Valley (Home to deer, sheep, and rabbits; great for a leisurely walk) [Nearby Restaurants] 1. Yangjibareun Burger 2. Wan & Song House 3. Yeongrang Kalguksu (Knife-cut Noodle Soup)
All utility costs are included in the management fee. However, due to the building's systems—which utilize electric water heaters and electric boilers—additional charges may apply if electricity consumption is excessive.
I had a great stay. I'll definitely visit again!
Our family of four had a comfortable and relaxing stay. The ocean view was wonderful. The accommodation was quiet, too—perfect for a great night's sleep.
I like the view of Lighthouse Beach from the window.
