It was a new place, but I struggled because the air conditioning didn't work. Apparently, the AC isn't broken but is controlled by the building management; they refused to turn it on even when I asked. I wouldn't recommend staying here during the seasonal transition months of September and October. Also, the landlord is withholding my refund because the toilet wouldn't flush—even though they already knew the toilet was prone to occasional clogs. They are holding the money back because the flush button is broken and they've requested a repair. It’s absolutely absurd; I’ve never seen anything like this. It was noisy because it's in a restaurant district, and the cleaning wasn't thorough. Pigeons were constantly hanging around the window of the large room—leaving droppings and feathers—so I couldn't even open the window. I had to sleep on the floor without any ventilation, even though it was hot. I endured it all for nine days, only to be told after checking out that I wouldn't get my refund. I do not recommend this place.
This building regulates its temperature by cooling or heating water and circulating it throughout the entire facility. Consequently, there can be a few days of discomfort during transitional seasons depending on the year's weather conditions; it appears you experienced such inconvenience as we are currently shifting from summer to winter.
