Hello! Think of this as visiting your grandmother's house in a quiet rural village in Gapyeong. (120,000 KRW for Fri/Sat/Sun; please see additional details.) When you park in the yard, our mixed-breed dogs, Daepa (black) and Jjopa (gray), will give you a warm welcome. There is a charcoal grill in the yard for barbecue. The first-floor room has a bed as well as a floor mattress, and the second floor is set up for watching movies and sleeping (equipped with electric floor heating). If you enjoy walking, you can follow the nearby bicycle path to Jarasum Island for some exercise. I highly recommend this place as a base camp for anyone enjoying leisure activities in Gapyeong—whether it's cycling, hiking, visiting valleys, playing in the water, skiing, and more.
- You can take a taxi or bus from Gapyeong Station, but having your own car is the most convenient. Parking is available for one vehicle.
- I will send you the entrance passcode via message before your arrival. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. - There is no change in the rate for up to two guests. For additional guests (excluding elementary school-aged children), there is a fee of 30,000 KRW per adult per week (maximum of 4 guests; arrangements can be discussed).
- Check-in anytime on Friday, check-out by 2 PM on Sunday. - Rental fee is 120,000 KRW (please adjust the price in the app before booking; a separate 30,000 KRW maintenance fee applies). - During your stay, if chili peppers, pumpkins, or chives are in season, feel free to harvest them directly from the garden and enjoy them. - For nearby valleys, Gangmokgol is within walking distance (it's a small stream, mostly suitable for dipping your feet). - By car, many people visit Yongchu Valley—specifically under the Seung-an 1 Bridge (which features well-maintained county-managed parking and restrooms).

First of all, I slept well and the heating was excellent, so I had a very comfortable stay. One minor downside was that I wish the parking spaces had been a bit more spacious. Aside from that, I was completely satisfied! ^^
I'm glad to hear you had a comfortable stay. Hope to see you again! The parking spaces are actually larger than the designated spots for the disabled, though I suppose they might have looked narrow at first glance (sorry about that). Large SUVs can fit, so I hope you'll look kindly upon them.
As soon as I arrived, the dogs welcomed me. They even gave me some treats. I visited not so much for a vacation, but to clear my head and organize my thoughts. I liked the place so much that I even extended my stay. The host is kind and very responsive. I highly recommend it!
