I stayed here for over a month. To sum it up, I originally booked this place just as a temporary stopgap while looking for a permanent home, but it was so good that I actually considered finding a unit in this same building! - Location: Great. Near Hak-dong Station. - Size: It’s an open-plan studio layout; the room is a decent size and feels pleasant. - Pros: 1) The furniture is stylish, and it’s fully equipped with most household essentials, so you can move in with just your personal belongings. 2) The landlord can arrange a parking spot for a day or two if needed (though you must communicate this in advance). 3) The landlord is quick to respond. 4) The bathroom is quite spacious for a studio, so showering is comfortable. - Cons: 1) Since it’s in Nonhyeon, many residents appear to work in the nightlife industry, and you run into them often on the street; there’s a nightlife district just a 5-minute walk away. Consequently, you might hear the elevator or people talking late at night. 2) There are restaurants nearby, so even though the unit is on the 5th floor, cooking smells drift up if the door is open. 3) The AC and mattress are a bit worn out. The AC leaked, and the mattress sagged a little, causing back pain, so I had to buy a topper to use! I noticed quite a few things during my long stay, so I’ve detailed the pros and cons here. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it—provided the price works for you!
