The facilities, cleanliness, and location were all excellent; the building was quiet, and the host was quick to respond to inquiries, making for a pleasant stay. However, since I had already paid a cleaning fee of 70,000 won, I felt that while tidying up and sorting the recycling is a matter of courtesy, the actual disposal of the trash should be the host's responsibility. It was convenient that plenty of trash bags and various daily necessities were provided. However, there were a great many people smoking right at the entrance of the building. Cigarette butts were constantly scattered at the main entrance, which I found personally very unpleasant whenever I left. Although it seemed the butts were cleared away every few days, the representative apologized and explained that the root cause was impossible to resolve. Since I am sensitive to smoke, breathing in the smoky air every morning left my throat feeling a bit scratchy. I was taken aback to find numerous yellow stains on the pillow itself when I removed the cover, and the view outside—which made it clear why the curtains were kept drawn—somewhat affected my stay. While it was great having Children's Grand Park Station just five minutes away, it was inconvenient that I had to travel to Konkuk University Station to transfer to Line 2, which is the more popular line. It is a decent space for a solo traveler, but it might be a bit uncomfortable for a family or a group of two.
Hello. First, I would like to apologize once again for the inconvenience you experienced. As previously mentioned, smoking is prohibited in front of the building; however, some passersby or residents do occasionally smoke there. Although we continuously raise this issue with the management, the improvements are often short-lived, making it difficult to fully resolve the situation. To help minimize any discomfort, we recommended using an alternative entrance instead of the main one. We also prioritize hygiene by regularly washing and replacing not only the pillowcases but the pillow inserts themselves.
