Hosting these guests was a stressful experience for us. Although the property accommodates eight people and has four queen beds, the group of five frequently messaged us to request extra mattress pads and bedding. They also put me in an awkward position by messaging late the night before checkout to ask if they could stay past the scheduled time. Furthermore, they complained to me after misinterpreting the layout—despite the photos clearly showing that the three rooms consisted of two bedrooms and one dining room. I do not wish to host guests with young babies again; I plan to restrict bookings to adults or families with teenage children. It is unfortunate that this experience has left me with a negative impression, but I wanted to share this so other hosts can take it into account.
