This is a studio-type accommodation with a beautiful view of all four seasons through its large windows. It has double-glazed windows between the entrance and the living room (room). You can get a good night's sleep on the sturdy bed with clean bedding. The host's gallery building, built with exposed concrete by a famous architect, uses the entire building, including the stairs and hallways, as an exhibition space, so you can enjoy wonderful artworks. It is a quiet accommodation with a washing machine installed, making it a great place for a comfortable long-term stay.
Sindun-Hyeop-IC is 1km from the accommodation, so you can reach Gangnam, Seoul in 40 minutes. When you come from the lower region, you can enter the Icheon Rice Rest Area of the Jungbu 2nd Expressway. Please type 'Gallery Sso' in the navigation. You can take a bus from the Gyeonggang Line (Sindun Doyechon Station). You can also take a bus from Icheon Station and Icheon Bus Terminal. When using the bus, get off at 'Gocheok Reservoir', and the accommodation is a 2-3 minute walk from Exit 3.
Check-in is contactless. Once your reservation is confirmed, we will send you the password and usage guidelines via text message. The standard rate is for two people. If there are additional guests, please inform the host in advance. The additional fee will be discussed with the host and transferred via bank transfer before check-in (this includes infants and toddlers). Cooking dishes that splatter oil or leave strong odors, such as grilled pork belly or grilled fish, is prohibited. Please avoid moving furniture such as tables, dressing tables, or beds, as this may cause scratches on the floor. Smoking is prohibited. Pets are not allowed.
It is located in the Ceramic Art Village (Y's Park), the venue for the Icheon Ceramic Festival. The entire village is a quiet artists' village where not only potters but also painters, sculptors, glass artists, and more than 260 households of artists have built beautiful buildings and work. You can experience and enjoy art at any time within the village, and there are many places that offer one-day classes and experiences, so you can enjoy various hobbies during your stay. For your information, you can also take one-day classes and experiences in acrylic painting, watercolor painting, drawing, portrait painting, etc. at the host's gallery, a famous painter, on the first floor of the accommodation (reservations are required). There is a beautifully landscaped promenade along the stream in the village, and small parks and exercise equipment are installed throughout the village. It is a quiet and beautiful village where you can feel the changes of nature throughout the four seasons. There is also a small park right next to the accommodation. It's nice to go out in comfortable clothes in the morning and evening to exercise and come back during your stay.
All utility bills are included in the management fee. However, you may be charged if you use too much. When you go out, please unplug all appliances except the refrigerator and turn off all lights. Never leave the door open while the air conditioner or boiler is running.
