It’s a "1.5-room" layout, so the kitchen is separate from the main living area, which is great. The combined bedroom and living space is quite spacious—perfect for two people—so I actually extended my stay by a week. The host was also kind and quick to respond to any questions, which I really appreciated! You might be hesitant about it being a semi-basement unit, but it comes fully equipped with a dehumidifier. It actually got so bright in the morning that I was forced to wake up! Drying laundry using the dehumidifier's clothing mode works wonders—no musty smells at all. It’s quiet at night, and the nearby Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is a fantastic spot for a walk.
I stayed for three weeks and had a wonderful time. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, and the room was pleasant—it didn't feel like a semi-basement at all! The host was kind, and the place was fully stocked with all the essentials, so I didn't lack anything. Even though it was summer, the air conditioner and dehumidifier kept things comfortable and helped the laundry dry well. There's a bus stop right out front, too—highly recommended!
