I stayed for 12 weeks, from mid-June to early September. The place looks exactly like the photos and is really comfortable. I was a bit worried about the reputation of semi-basement apartments, but it felt cozy, and I only saw one or two spiders the entire time. The location is excellent—close enough to Hongik University/Hongdae without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. I really appreciated having a vacuum cleaner, as it made it easy to keep the place tidy. I didn't interact with the landlord at all, but that was simply because I didn't need anything; the place is fully equipped! It offers great value.
