If you are considering this accommodation for either a short or long-term stay, I strongly recommend reading this before signing a contract. I stayed here for five weeks, and given the same conditions, I would not choose it again. 1. I couldn't get in on the very first day due to a door lock issue. After changing the passcode, I closed the door, but I couldn't get back in. While it was partly my fault for closing it without verifying the change, there had been no prior instructions or warnings provided. It turned out the person renting out the unit was actually a tenant themselves—not the property owner—so they didn't have a master key or emergency card key. They offered no on-site solution over the phone, leaving me to find a service provider myself. 2. Repair costs were 250,000 KRW, and the promise to cover 100,000 KRW was reneged upon. A service provider had to force open and replace the lock, costing 250,000 KRW. We had agreed beforehand that the lessor would cover 100,000 KRW, but after the repair, they changed their story, claiming the platform (SamsamM2) said it wasn't their responsibility. However, I contacted the platform directly that same day; their response was simply that they do not get involved in determining liability between parties—they never stated that the lessor was not at fault. There was a discrepancy between what the lessor claimed and the platform's actual response, and I ended up paying the full 250,000 KRW myself. The loss of trust during this process was more significant than the financial cost. 3. Other issues The facilities were more worn-out than the photos suggested, and the mattress sagged badly, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. I was told parking would be difficult for long-term stays, so I used a separate paid parking lot, though the actual parking situation differed from what was described. The air conditioner was noisy, the bathroom was cramped, and there were issues with inter-floor noise and odors. At the time of my stay, the price was 360,000 KRW per week plus a 150,000 KRW weekly maintenance fee (rates may differ now). Personally, if you are willing to pay this much, I recommend comparing this place thoroughly with other nearby accommodations and choosing one with better conditions. It was a choice I deeply regretted, wishing I had gone to a hotel instead.

I am truly sorry and feel a heavy heart as a host knowing that you experienced inconvenience during your stay, when you should have had a much more satisfying time. 1. Regarding the door lock replacement and settlement I imagine you were quite flustered when the door wouldn't open on your first day due to a mistake made while setting the new passcode. This incident involved forced entry resulting from the tenant's error in setting the code, rather than a malfunction of the device itself. Upon verifying the official regulations with the SamsamM2 headquarters, I was informed that there is no obligation to keep a master key on-site, nor is the landlord liable or required to provide support in such cases. Although I initially offered some assistance because the headquarters' policy regarding master keys was unclear, I ask for your understanding regarding the final settlement, which had to be made in accordance with the company's official guidelines and safety management principles. (The policy of not keeping a master key or emergency card is a measure designed to prevent host access and thoroughly protect the safety and privacy of our guests.) 2. Information on facilities and the accommodation environment ◆Cleanliness and hygiene: Although the building is somewhat older, we manage the cleaning ourselves with great care rather than outsourcing it. The air conditioner had also been professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. ◆Bed and mattress: A plush latex topper is placed over the mattress. Due to the nature of latex—which contours to the body—the cushioning is deep, so some guests might perceive this as the mattress sagging. ◆Parking: As previously stated, this accommodation does not provide parking facilities. ◆Noise and other matters: This is a very quiet building; we have never received a single complaint regarding noise or odors. I am truly sorry that I only learned of these issues after your departure; had you mentioned them during your stay, I would have checked and addressed them immediately. I sincerely apologize for falling short of your expectations. We will use your valuable feedback to pay closer attention to details and improve our accommodation. Thank you.
