- Jonggak, City Hall, Gwanghwamun, Euljiro, Jongno, and Myeongdong are all within a 10-minute walk, allowing you to enjoy Seoul on foot. - It is close to Shinsegae and Lotte Department Store's main branches. Cheonggye Stay recommends both sightseeing and shopping! - Enjoy the beautiful view of Cheonggyecheon Stream flowing outside the window, the sunny daytime, and the splendid night view. - Pets, smoking, and outside visitors are not allowed!
- Subway station area: Jonggak Station (Line 1), Euljiro 1-ga Station (Line 2), Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5), Euljiro 3-ga Station (Line 3) → Very convenient for commuting and travel! - Numerous trunk and branch bus routes in the Euljiro, Gwanghwamun, and Jongno areas → Travel to all parts of Seoul without transfers - Walking distance: Cheonggyecheon, Insa-dong, Myeong-dong, City Hall, Gwanghwamun, Hipjiro, etc.
- After confirming your reservation for contactless check-in, detailed instructions will be sent via email or message. - Time Information: Check-in is after 3 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM. - Two elevators are available for your convenience, so you won't have to wait. ❤️ - Guests are responsible for any damages caused by smoking, such as wallpaper odor, furniture damage, or floor damage. - Please be sure to dispose of trash and personal belongings upon check-out!

- All utility bills are included in the management fee. - If you use excessive electricity and water, you may be asked to pay an additional fee upon check-out. - Hot water and heating are supplied by electricity, so there is no separate gas usage. - The standard number of people for our accommodation is 1, and only 1 additional person is allowed. An additional fee of 50,000 won will be charged for each additional person. :)
Sorry for the late review! Overall, I was very satisfied. 1. The location was excellent. It’s right in front of Cheonggyecheon Stream, and I didn't experience a single inconvenience. Most amenities were provided, and there was no noise from neighbors upstairs or downstairs. You could hear the sounds of busking from the stream, but it didn't get noisy late into the night. (That said, it might not be suitable for very light sleepers or those extremely sensitive to noise. I’m quite sensitive myself, but I found it easy enough to ignore.) 2. I was worried about safety since I was staying alone as a woman, but there was a management office and a security guard on-site. The area near Cheonggyecheon and "Youth Street" was always lively with office workers and tourists. With a convenience store and a police substation right nearby, I felt very safe. On weekend mornings, "Model Taxi" drivers would even patrol the stream area right below the building. I felt reassured by the double-locking system (digital lock plus a separate manual latch). Also, in the week I stayed there, I only shared the elevator with someone else twice. I was never delayed or inconvenienced by the elevator! 3. Since the building is older, I think people with extreme cleanliness concerns might find it uncomfortable, but I could tell the host had carefully cleaned the areas people touch most. It was certainly acceptable to me. The advantages far outweighed the minor downsides (no separate bathroom sink, stairs to the loft felt scary so I crawled up them, the bathroom was a bit small, and the older building might bother those with germaphobia). Personally, I was very satisfied. 4. Also, the buildings visible outside at night are beautiful... and people-watching was quite entertaining. It was my first time using SamsamM2, so I was a bit nervous, but I had a great stay without any major issues. I did my best to clean up and tidy the place before leaving, though I’m not sure if I did it properly. In any case, I had a comfortable and relaxing stay. If I need to stay in Seoul again, I would likely choose this place once more. Thank you!
