The room was very spacious, and it was great that they had carefully and thoughtfully prepared everything I needed. I definitely want to visit again.
It was close to the scheduled place, so it was good to stay. However, the air conditioner seems to need repair. It needs to be turned on all day to maintain coolness. I wish there was a fan. Since it's an old mixed-use officetel, if you're a woman alone, you might want to reconsider staying late. Other than that, the water purifier was good and the air conditioner was good. I slept well.
This is a review after staying for 3 weeks! Pros 1. The house is spacious -Good for two people to live together without feeling cramped -Among short-term rentals, the price is reasonable for the size 2. The desk is optimized for work or study -The desk might feel a bit low for some people, but someone around 160cm can use it comfortably -The desk chair is comfortable -If the desk is too low and uncomfortable, the dining chair is also comfortable, so you can study or work at the dining table 3. The dishwashing area is more spacious than other studio apartments 4. Heating and cooling work well -If it's humid, you can turn on the air conditioner's fan mode to prevent humidity 5. Ample refrigerator space 6. The washing machine is large and good (top-loading), and the drying rack is also spacious 7. Daiso and Olive Young are conveniently located within a 10-minute walk 8. The owner is kind -If you mention any needed items, they say they will bring them 9. There is a recycling bin in the house -It's convenient to separate trash when disposing of it Cons 1. The house is old -The interior is clean, but the bathroom structure is old-fashioned. -There's a slight cigarette smell 2. No screen door -To ventilate, you just have to turn on the air conditioner's fan function. Even if you don't open the door all day, if you occasionally run it in fan mode, the room is spacious enough that it doesn't feel too stuffy -If it's really stuffy, you can open the window for about 10 minutes a day to ventilate 3. There are quite a few mosquitoes in the summer -The building's B1 floor is a sauna, and on rainy days, there are many mosquitoes on the 1st floor, so you need to be careful not to let mosquitoes enter the house when you go in 4. For two people, there are not enough dishes, spoons, and cooking utensils -If you plan to cook at home, it's recommended to bring your own cooking utensils, etc. I had a good stay for 3 weeks. In the kitchen, it would be good to prepare additional cooking utensils (one extra frying pan, a ramen pot, wooden chopsticks for stir-frying, a wooden cutting board, etc.), two extra sets of spoons and chopsticks, four extra soup bowls (since you'll need to heat up instant rice to eat at home, it would be good to have soup bowls), and containers to store spoons, knives, and cooking utensils. Also, for daily life, it would be good to prepare additional Gwangjin-gu standard garbage bags, food waste bags, extra plastic bags (since you'll need to replace the plastic when the trash can is full), facial tissues, and a 5-outlet power strip. If possible, it would also be good to install mosquito screens. The room is spacious, and the furniture is large and nice, so with a few improvements, it could be an even better room. Among the short-term rentals I've stayed in so far, this has been the best for living.
