I stayed here for a 10-week contract and am leaving an honest review. I will stick to objective facts and minimize personal emotion, as getting too emotional can compromise objectivity and honesty. To start, the room itself is cozy. It didn't feel dirty when I arrived, and the bedding smelled fresh. It’s a decent place to live on one's own. However, the malfunctioning air conditioner was a major issue. When I inquired, I was told to clean the filter, but upon checking, I found there was no filter at all. The manager, claiming to be busy, told me to call a repair service myself and bill them for the cost. In the end, I didn't call anyone; it is impossible to find an AC repair technician who can come immediately during that season. It was the middle of summer, so it was very difficult. I found it hard to understand why I was expected to handle filter cleaning or AC repairs myself. I couldn't use the washing machine because the hose was broken, and the TV remote was malfunctioning. When I asked about it, I was told to wipe the battery compartment with a tissue. Eventually, I had to go to another unit to get a new remote myself, as the manager said they were too busy. When I first arrived, rusty water came out of the kitchen sink. However, this is a common occurrence in areas like Mangwon when the water hasn't been run for a while. It didn't happen again after that. On the Friday of my seventh week, a rather large cockroach appeared, so I moved out on the Monday of the eighth week. I caught it and set up several cockroach traps before leaving. The situation likely arose from a combination of the monsoon season, indoor humidity caused by the broken AC, and my own neglect of cleaning due to a busy schedule. Before the rainy season began—and when I was diligent about cleaning—I didn't see a single bug. This is the most objective review I can provide. I have tried to set aside my emotions and have written only the facts. If any part of this is untrue, I am fully prepared to accept whatever consequences follow, because everything stated here is 100% factual and free of exaggeration. Thank you.
