I had a great stay here for a month. It was conveniently located near Seoul Forest Station and Ttukseom Station, making it easy to get to academies in Apgujeong, Jamsil, and anywhere else in Seoul. The owner promptly resolved even minor issues and really made an effort to ensure a comfortable stay.
Here is a brief summary of our stay during a family trip to Korea (lasting about two and a half weeks): Pros 1. Great amenities: Large washing machine, dryer, ice-dispensing water purifier, spacious dining table, and plenty of towels (over 8 provided). These were the biggest perks for short-term travelers. 2. Excellent location with tons of nearby restaurants. Ttukseom Station and Seoul Forest Station are both within a 5-minute walk; Seongsu shopping areas are walkable (or a 15-minute walk/one subway stop away); and there are GS Supermarkets, convenience stores, Starbucks, and Daiso all within walking distance. Plus, places like Cheonggyecheon, Myeong-dong, the Changsin-dong toy market, and Jongno are easily accessible by subway within 20–30 minutes. 3. While the street view makes the entrance look directly exposed to the outside, it actually connects to the inner courtyard area, making package and Coupang deliveries convenient and worry-free regarding theft. 4. Tucked away inside the villa complex, so there’s almost no noise from motorcycles or traffic—perfect for a good night's sleep after a day out. Cons 1. The bathroom entrance has a somewhat high threshold (not sure if this is a characteristic of semi-basement units). 2. The air conditioner is installed in the large bedroom rather than the living room (relevant for summer stays). 3. No TV (a bit of a shame, as watching Korean commercials is fun after a long time away). It was a bit of a tight fit for our group of four (two adults and two children aged 14 and 12), but it offered incredible value for money compared to accommodations in the Gangnam area. It’s a fantastic choice if your kids are interested in shopping or food. We’d definitely stay here again if we have the chance!
