Jongno 5-ga Station (Line 1), Exit 4 is 496m away (4 minutes), Dongdaemun Station (Lines 1 & 4), Exit 10 is 401m away (5 minutes), and a bus stop is 3 minutes away. Gwangjang Market, Sinjin Market, and Dongdaemun Market are nearby. Airport buses can also be boarded at the three-way intersection.
Check-in is contactless. Pets are not allowed. This is a non-smoking building. Smoking inside may result in eviction without a deposit refund. Please be mindful of noise as this is a shared building. Basic kitchen facilities are provided, but please refrain from cooking foods that produce strong odors or smoke, such as grilled fish. Towels, bedding, and amenities are not provided.
Dongdaemun, Naksan Park, Daehakro, and Cheonggyecheon are all within walking distance. It is right next to the Hyojedong food alley, and traditional markets such as Sinjin Market, Gwangjang Market, and Bangsan Market are also close by. Sinjin Market Gopchang, Hyojedong Baekje Butcher Shop, Eokjo Bokbulgogi, and Dongdaemun Dakhanmari Alley are also close, and there are many restaurants nearby. The entrance is wide and the Hyojedong police station is nearby, so it is safe. The first-floor commercial space is a hair salon, so it is not noisy and is clean. It is recommended for those who want a quiet place close to the downtown area. It is the optimal location for living near Daehakro and Dongdaemun. It is preferred by Seoul National University Hospital interns.

Typical officetel, small but functional. Incredible views of Namsan! In the busy neighborhood of Jongno, but set back on a quiet street so no road noise at night. Within walking distance to the DDP area, a 5-minute walk to Cheonggyecheon Stream, a 5-minute walk to multiple bus stations and 2 subway stations. The only things I didn't like were that I could sometimes hear the other tenants moving around in the building, there is no proper workspace (I used the kitchen table that pulls out from the wall but this wasn't the best setup), and there are multiple mattresses on the bed and the top one slides around which sometimes disrupted my sleep. Still, I highly recommend this apartment if you're working and living in the area or if you're visiting for a short time and want to be in a central location.
