Jamsil Station Seokchon Lake Top 3🥇

I’ve stayed in various areas like Mapo-gu in the summer and Gangnam-gu in the winter using "Air-something" when visiting Korea from abroad, but I tried "SamSamM2" for the first time after seeing an ad, and I genuinely had a wonderful stay. It was perfectly comfortable for two adults; the separate bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, and balcony created a spacious feel, making it much more convenient than the typical studio or small multi-room layouts I’ve stayed in before. The balcony was great for keeping exercise equipment or luggage, and also perfect for enjoying a beer together. With an air conditioner and a fan in the bedroom, I stayed nice and cool last week as the weather started getting hot. A dryer was provided, making laundry easy, and clothes dried quickly when hung on the balcony. There were so many Blue Ribbon and Michelin-rated restaurants, food alleys, traditional markets, outdoor street eateries, and Lotte World Mall shops nearby that I didn't really need to use the kitchen, though it was well-stocked with utensils and supplies. The location was absolutely the best. Seokchon Lake was just a 3–5 minute walk away—great for a stroll—and within that same distance, there was Lotte World Mall, Lotte Mart, Lotte World Tower Cinema (perfect for early morning movies), subway lines 2 & 8, a major bus stop, a bookstore, Olive Young, Daiso, 24-hour *gukbap* (soup and rice) places, restaurants broadcasting the World Cup, Sulbing, Yeokjeon Halmaek, Yeopdduk, PC bangs, karaoke rooms, photo booths, escape rooms, health checkup centers, various clinics, and dermatology clinics ranging from high-volume chains to specialist practices... there was practically nothing missing from the neighborhood. Jamsil Station even had luggage storage and a service to ship luggage to Incheon Airport. The main street in Jamsil is well-maintained with smoke-free zones and bicycle lanes, making the stay much more pleasant than in Gangnam. I used the local bike-sharing service (Ttareungi)—which costs just 1,000 won for an hour and allows for unlimited extensions—and it was great; Olympic Park was only a 5-minute ride away, making it perfect for a walk or a picnic. The location and convenience were top-notch; even when I visited my family home during my trip, I found myself feeling more physically and mentally at ease back at the accommodation. The host had prepared everything so thoughtfully that I didn't need a thing. They were incredibly kind and provided detailed instructions. They reached out when I checked in late at night and checked in on me periodically to make sure everything was okay. Thank you! I’d love to stay here again next time I visit Korea. 👍

My trip to Korea was extended, so I needed to find accommodation again; luckily, this place was available, so I stayed here a second time. The transportation links are absolutely top-notch! There’s everything you could need nearby, and Jamsil is within walking distance, making it great for shopping—Lotte Tower, luxury boutiques, Avenuel, Lotte Department Store, Lotte Mall, Lotte Castle, the underground shopping center, Kyobo Book Centre... honestly, there were so many places I couldn't visit them all. The host took such good care of me right up to the end, allowing me to stay with peace of mind. They were the kindest host I’ve ever met; they replied immediately and quickly provided anything I needed. If I had to point out a downside, it might be slightly inconvenient if you plan to cook all three meals at home. While the place is fully equipped for cooking—with a large fridge and a freezer that works well—and is fine for simple dishes, it might not be the most comfortable setup for preparing elaborate meals. Personally, I didn't find it inconvenient at all since there were so many things I wanted to eat in Korea and a "food alley" right in front, so I hardly cooked. Also, since there are many restaurants downstairs, delicious aromas waft up between 6 PM and 8 PM—it really makes you hungry! Otherwise, despite being at the entrance of a food alley, it was quiet with no noise issues. Even with so many restaurants nearby, there were no bugs or cockroaches. The room was spacious—plenty of room for one person—and the double-lock system made me feel safe, even as a woman traveling alone. I highly recommend taking a walk around Seokchon Lake and Olympic Park! Thank you for keeping the place so clean. Thanks to you, I finished my trip successfully. I’ll definitely be back!

I booked from Australia and was a bit nervous because there weren't many photos, but the reviews were great, so I decided to trust them. After arriving in Korea, I was deeply touched by the host's warm and attentive care—especially since I hadn't come to Korea for a happy reason. They frequently checked if I needed anything or had any inconveniences and gave me tips on local spots and public transport, which helped me quickly adjust to the Korea that had changed so much since I was last there! I had worried about the lack of photos, but I loved the place once I checked in. It was spotless—you could tell every corner had been thoroughly cleaned and that the host really cared about the space. The room was spacious for one person, and having a separate kitchen made daily life very convenient. The balcony was cozy and became a perfect spot for relaxation. Everything I needed was provided, and they even set up two electric fans just in case it got hot! I didn't need the A/C because the weather was mild, but there was one available, and they had cleaned it prior to my arrival. Since the weather was unpredictable, they provided both winter and summer bedding, ensuring I slept comfortably regardless of the temperature. Whenever I needed something, they were happy to provide it without ever showing the slightest sign of annoyance. Thank you so much! I chose this place for its great transportation links, but living here turned out to be even more convenient than I imagined. It was perfect for using public transport, and with so many great restaurants in the nearby food alleys and Songnidan-gil, I never even had to use food delivery apps like Coupang Eats. I’ll never forget the wonderful times spent walking around Seokchon Lake and Olympic Park right nearby. The place was so comfortable that there were times I just stayed inside without going out at all (having Netflix connected was a huge plus!). The neighborhood had everything I needed, and since I had plenty of free time, I even signed up for Pilates classes a few times a week. The surrounding environment was convenient, the accommodation was cozy and comfortable, the bed was spacious, and there wasn't a single thing to complain about. The only thing was that the accommodation was on the fourth floor, which gave someone with poor stamina like me a chance to get a good workout every day—whether I wanted to or not! Haha. Considering the quality, comfort, and the genuine care provided at such a reasonable price, I don't think I'll ever find a place like this again. Thank you sincerely.
