The host was so, so kind. It was a given that they would tell us about nearby restaurants and cafes. The accommodation was clean in every nook and cranny. Most of all, it was great that there were two bathrooms for our two families! We went sightseeing in Jongno, Gangnam, Itaewon, Hyehwa, and Dongdaemun, and it was really easy to get around without having to travel far. The convenience store was a minute away, the subway station was close, and Dongmyo Market was right in front, so it was great for sightseeing. There were no downsides at all, so my travel companions praised me a lot for how well I chose the accommodation. I highly recommend it!💞
The location was really convenient. It was about an 8-minute walk to Dongmyo Station (Lines 6 and 1), and E-Mart Cheonggye Branch was about a 15-minute walk away, making it easy to live there. The surrounding prices were also low, so it was less of a burden for long-term stays. However, the building is old and shows signs of age. Although it's on the second floor, the first floor is a parking lot, so it's actually about three stories high, making it quite difficult to use the stairs if you have luggage (no elevator). Also, perhaps because it's a multi-family housing structure, you should note that the water pressure becomes very, very weak when water is used simultaneously (e.g., kitchen water, bathroom water, etc.).
