I had a good stay for about 2 months on a business trip to Cheongju. It's a quiet, corridor-style apartment complex, so there's a grocery delivery on Fridays and delicious food trucks often come in the evenings. The host also responded quickly to any issues, so I had no major inconveniences. Since it's an old building, there might be some drafts, so it might be a bit cold in winter, but the central heating works well.
