The bed was sagging, the bathroom exhaust fan was incredibly loud, and the air conditioner made so much noise—there were just so many inconveniences. There was also a strong musty odor. It was a really difficult month-long stay.
I stayed here for five weeks during my visit to Korea, and the host was always quick to respond whenever I needed anything. The location is in the heart of Gangnam, offering excellent transportation links and convenient access to nearby amenities and restaurants. It was a quiet place to stay—free from noise between floors or other disturbances—making it a great spot to relax. Although the windows face south, the proximity to a neighboring building's exterior wall creates shade; this keeps the unit cool in the summer without needing much air conditioning, though it does make ventilation a bit difficult. I haven't stayed here in winter, so I can't speak to that season, and the heating system might allow for some drafts, but overall, it was a satisfying experience. I would love to stay here again if the opportunity arises.
