That's great!
The apartment building itself is old, but the interior is clean, and the landlord is kind. However, electricity and gas bills are paid separately, and the base rates arbitrarily set by the landlord are slightly higher than the standard rates established by the utility companies (KEPCO, gas companies). When I inquired about this, the landlord mentioned the apartment's basic maintenance fee—which wasn't part of the contract—so I didn't quite understand why they brought it up. Still, since the amount is small, I’m just paying it. They were likely referring to progressive rates or additional base charges; however, my usage in May didn't trigger progressive rates, and even factoring in the base rate, the total cost remains higher than the standard rate schedule. I suggest you keep this in mind and clarify the details with the landlord before signing the contract.
The bathroom is really cramped, so it's uncomfortable to wash up.
I love to travel, so I've always dreamed of a place to stay from a traveler's perspective.
