It is very clean and cozy. It is also quiet, with no noise disturbances. The amenities are well-maintained and clean. I am truly satisfied with the quality of the stay at this price point.
The landlady is kind and puts a lot of effort into managing the place, but you do have to keep in mind that the building itself is old. There is a strong smell of disinfectant throughout the building—which is unavoidable given the need for pest control and sanitation—and while long-term residents seem to put up with it, I have a sensitive respiratory system, so this was a bit of an issue for me. I booked based on the app since it was a short-term stay, but I would recommend visiting the building and the specific unit in person before signing a contract. The room is equipped with various essentials as shown in the photos, and the landlady tries to accommodate needs whenever possible. There is a communal water purifier, so you don't have to stock up on bottled water, which is convenient. It also feels like she pays good attention to trash disposal and cleaning the common areas. However, the photos don't always reflect the exact state of the specific unit (it seems like they might use photos of one specific room for all listings), which was a bit of a surprise for me; that’s why I suggest seeing the room yourself before signing. Since it’s a short-term rental with a low deposit and affordable rent, it’s a decent option—sort of like a dormitory for nearby Paichai University students—but if you’re expecting the feel of a brand-new or recently built building, you’d probably be better off looking for a more expensive rental or a long-term lease. It was a shame I had to leave early, but I appreciate the landlady's care and wish her all the best.
