This is a small, old house where a Japanese police officer lived during the Japanese colonial period. It was remodeled two years ago. A cave dug by a Japanese police officer to be used as a bunker surrounds this small house. Inside the cave, clear and cool water from bedrock flows all year round.
Subway Line 3, Gyeongbokgung Station, Exit 3. Subway Lines 1 and 2, City Hall Station, Exit 2. From Gwanghwamun Station on Line 5, in front of KT, take village bus 09 and get off at the last stop, Suseongdong Valley. It's a 2-minute walk. It's a 15-minute walk from Gwanghwamun Station or Gyeongbokgung Station.
Check-in is contactless. Dogs are not allowed. No smoking indoors. This is a quiet residential area, so please be quiet after 10 PM to avoid complaints from neighbors.

The Cave House is located at the foot of Inwangsan Mountain, near Suseongdong Valley. It is a cozy and quiet house with beautiful mountain scenery, clear water, and the sounds of birds and wind, which change with the seasons. This house is suitable for small workshops and a comfortable retreat for families.
All utility bills are included in the management fee. However, you will be charged extra for excessive use of water, electricity, and gas.
It was a unique and pretty house, and it was well-maintained, so I had a comfortable stay.
