Scuba diving connections available 10 minutes by car to Samsung Shipyard Tongyeong Tower - If you go down past the small field next to the first-floor barbecue area, a CU convenience store is nearby. - Leaving the house and heading uphill on the main road, you can pass through a small tunnel on the right to reach Seongpo Middle School. A walk around the school grounds leads to Seongpo Port. The sashimi restaurants at Seongpo Port are great, and buying fresh fish at the auction house to take away is also a good option. - You can cross the bridge to Gajwado from in front of Seongpo Middle School; once you cross, visiting the Suhyup Hyosi Park observatory (free admission) offers such a great view that you won't need to look for scenery elsewhere. - Taking a drive around Gajwado is highly recommended. The scenery is especially beautiful in the morning and at sunset. - Sashimi restaurants at Gohyeon Market aren't cheap; Tongyeong Market seems like a better choice. For fruits and vegetables, Jungang Food Mart is better than Gohyeon Market.
