Purpose and duration of use: A family of three with a young child stayed for one week to visit relatives and do some sightseeing. Overall review: There were some initial disappointments, but the host responded sincerely and resolved the issues, so we had a pleasant stay. Surroundings: When we checked in late on the first night, I wondered if the area behind was an entertainment district and if it was unsuitable for a family with a young child, but my impression changed when I woke up in the morning. Passing between the buildings in front, you immediately reach the sea, and it was nice to feed seagulls there, walk along the sandy beach, and play in the sand. Also, having a convenience store on the first floor was definitely convenient. View: You can see the back of the building in front, and although it's not an open sea view, you can see the Gwangandaegyo Bridge and the sea through the buildings. It was nice to watch seagulls floating like ducks, joggers, haenyeo (female divers), and boats appearing occasionally while having breakfast in the morning. Room: At first, the separated space felt a bit cramped, and I wondered if I should have rented a single open room, but it was good to have the space separated when the two adults chatted while the child was sleeping. It was a bit disappointing that cigarette smoke came into the bathroom in the early morning, but I think this is unavoidable in general officetels as it's a matter of luck. The host said they would file a complaint, so I hope it will be improved. Bedding: The bedding and mattress were a bit disappointing, but it wasn't a major inconvenience for sleeping. Recommended nearby restaurants: I heard a lot about Minlak Market right next door, but it seemed like a place for young people, so I didn't go. Among the places I visited, "Jin Dwaeji Gomtangjip" was close to the accommodation, newly opened, and delicious and unique. It has bar-style seating, so it's a bit difficult for families with young children, but it should be fine for children who can sit in an adult chair and eat. I heard that Saebyeokjip and Seoul Kkakdugi are popular among locals in Busan, but I couldn't go this time. I passed by Minlak Dwaejigukbap next to Minlak Alley Market and it was good with generous portions. Among the restaurants I drove to nearby, "3seon Sikdang" which sells meat, was affordable and delicious. Drone Show: It was canceled due to rain, so I couldn't see it. It seems difficult to watch properly from the accommodation, so if you want to see it, you'll have to go out, so please check carefully. Sauna: The sauna in the community center, which costs 3,000 won, had a bit of cold air, but the interior was clean, and the tubs were spacious and pleasant. Since it's not a regular sauna, there were no towels, buckets, or floor chairs, but it was fine to use and quiet, which was nice. The view from the sauna's large window wasn't very clear because I used it in the evening and it was winter, so there was condensation on the window. It's good to note that even during the day in winter, condensation might prevent you from enjoying the view as much as you'd hoped. Since my main purpose was bathing, I wasn't too disappointed. The path from the 5th floor to the next building is an uncovered bridge, so you'll need an umbrella if it rains (there was an umbrella at the accommodation, so I used that). The community center staff were friendly, perhaps because they are not a private company but deal with residents. The staff kindly helped me with the payment, and I don't know if it's always like this, but that day they said children don't pay and only adults pay, which was lucky. The tub temperatures when we went were 42 degrees and 17 degrees, so it was a bit hot and cold, but preferred temperatures vary by individual, so please just keep that in mind. Boiler: I thought it was strange that the temperature didn't rise much even when I turned on the boiler, but it seems there was some problem that was later resolved, as the host contacted me. If the room doesn't get warm, be sure to contact the host. Washer/Dryer: I wouldn't have been able to do laundry if there was only a washer, but since there was a dryer, I used it a lot during my week-long stay. Host: When I first checked in, there were some disappointing aspects that made me wonder if the accommodation had been operating for a long time, but when I mentioned them, most of them were resolved or they tried to resolve them. Also, one of the main reasons I chose this accommodation was the availability of a sauna, but when I mentioned that it wasn't operating during the 4-day Lunar New Year holiday, they gave me a discount on the accommodation fee. Despite some disappointing aspects, the host tried to minimize my discomfort, so I was able to finish my trip on a pleasant note. If you're planning a trip to Busan... I live in the Gyeonggi area, and Busan was definitely warmer. They say it gets colder when the wind blows, but I was lucky that there were more warm days than windy and cold days during my stay, and I thought that if I ever get cold and shiver in winter, I should travel to Busan or a southern region. Transportation I used my own car, and it sometimes took a while to get out of Gwangalli Beach Road, but most of the time it was convenient to go anywhere. I'm not sure if it was just that day or if it's always like that, but it was also quite easy to enter or exit the highway to and from the accommodation by car. (For accurate information, please ask the people of Busan...) Personal Review I'm usually sensitive about using accommodations, but this time I gave feedback with an open mind, telling the host about the inconveniences and accepting it if they couldn't be resolved, and the host also responded with an open mind. They said they hadn't been operating for long, and I wish them success in the future. And I hope my review will be helpful to those who are planning a trip or looking for accommodation.
