Escaping my daily routine, I arrived in Gosan for a three-week stay in Jeju, excited about the private accommodation awaiting me. When I first saw the place, I was delighted by how spotless it was— every single corner was immaculate. Waking up in the morning, I could look out the floor-to-ceiling windows and watch children heading to daycare or farmers going about their daily lives. It was a peaceful, leisurely start to my days in Jeju. Chagwido Island—a famous sunset spot for photographers— was less than a five-minute drive away. Nearby attractions included the Artists' Village in Jeoji, O'sulloc, Sanyang Keuneonggot, Hwansang Forest Gotjawal, Hallim Park, Hyeopjae Beach, and Saebyeol Oreum. There were also plenty of fantastic local restaurants, offering a wide range of culinary options. As someone accustomed to city infrastructure, I really appreciated the accommodation's central location in Gosan. It was a safe and convenient spot, close to hospitals, pharmacies, markets, a church, the administrative center, the post office, and the digital library (Hangyeong Library). As I wrap up this month-long stay—during which I experienced very little travel fatigue while visiting famous sites— I want to thank the host for their thoughtfulness. I would love to stay at Moken again and connect with the host in the future.
Our family of six stayed here! Having two floors to ourselves allowed for a relaxing vacation, and it was great to enjoy it all at such a reasonable price.✨ The best part is being able to see both the sunrise and the sunset. Waking up to the sunrise in bed, then ending the day watching the sunset while listening to LPs in the massage chair—🫰🏻it was pure healing. It’s a space that leaves a lasting impression. I’ll definitely be back soon! Thank you!!
