Dalunjae is more than just a place to stay; it is a space where you can take your time walking through the history and atmosphere of Gongju. As you step out and stroll along the alleyways, you naturally encounter the timeless scenery of the city. A quiet thread of Gongju’s history, culture, and human warmth connects various landmarks—from the fortress walls of Gongsanseong and the Jemincheon Stream promenade to the charming traditional market, the Daetongsa Temple site, Gamyeong-gil, the Hwangsaebawi Martyrs' Shrine, Jungdong Catholic Church, Jeil Methodist Church, and the Na Tae-joo Literature House. A short walk further brings you to the Ugumti Donghak Peasant Revolution Memorial Hall. In the morning, you can gaze at the sunlight and the rose garden through the living room’s floor-to-ceiling windows and watch birds land in the yard. Another charm of Dalunjae is the nighttime experience. Relaxing under the lights beside a small tent on the spacious deck allows the stress of a busy day to slowly melt away. It is the perfect place to share quiet conversations with a loved one, offering an atmosphere that feels like a cozy country retreat despite being right in the city center.
