The advantage of the old downtown area is that you can use the amenities on foot. Gwandeokjeong (Jeju Mok Gwana), Dongmun Market, Jungang Underground Shopping Center, Jeju City Hall, hospitals, pharmacies, cafes, and restaurants are all within a 15-minute walk. The bus stop is also within a 5-minute walk, so it is convenient to use the bus.

Gwandeokjeong is the Gyeongbokgung Palace of Jeju. The Jeju Mokgwana is a historical site that served as the center of Jeju's politics, administration, and culture from the Goryeo Dynasty to the Joseon Dynasty. It was restored in 1991 and 2002 based on historical records such as the Tamna Sunryeokdo, giving it its current appearance. Traditional Jeju cultural performances are also held in the Gwandeokjeong courtyard. It is also a venue for various events, large and small, as it is adjacent to the Tamna Culture Plaza.
Electricity is charged separately. Gas and water are included in the rent.
The accommodation is lovely and very clean. I felt safe thanks to the triple-layer security system. The only downside is the poor soundproofing; during my stay, there were people shouting and making noise at night. Despite that, if I were to come to Jeju for a week-long stay, I would definitely want to come back here! It’s close to Dongmun Market, and there’s a bus stop just a 3-minute walk away with routes heading in all directions.
