While it may not be a lavish villa, it offers a perfectly private space where you can relax undisturbed, spending quality time alone amidst the sounds of the wind and birdsong. The groundwater—sourced from a high-quality aquifer that passes annual safety tests—is safe to drink straight from the tap, and the air is fresh and clean, free from the odors associated with nearby livestock facilities. It is an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing, stress-free getaway in nature. The room has been recently renovated, ensuring a clean and pleasant stay.
Nestled in the woods of Hwajeon-ri, Yongmun-myeon, the location is easily accessible by car. You can reach the site from Seoul and the metropolitan area in about 1 to 1.5 hours, allowing you to enjoy a journey that takes you away from the bustling city and into the tranquility of nature. Buses are available on the main road just a five-minute walk away, and convenient access to the metropolitan area is provided via Yongmun Station (Gyeongui-Jungang Line) and Yongmun Terminal.

The access code will be provided on the day of check-in. ● Check-in: 15:00 ● Check-out: 11:00 (Subject to negotiation) ▶ Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas (including e-cigarettes). ▶ The space is set up for 4 guests. Please contact us if there are additional guests! ● Toiletries and consumables are not provided. ● Grilling meat indoors is prohibited. You may use the outdoor barbecue grill. ● Charges will apply for any loss, damage, or soiling of property. ▶ We can set up an INTEX pool upon request. Fee: 100,000 KRW per week (Available during summer season: June–September). ▶ Please let us know at the time of booking if you are bringing a pet! Pets must be able to relieve themselves outdoors. Right next to the house, there are distinct trails—ranging from casual hiking paths to more strenuous trekking routes—allowing you to enjoy nature at your own pace. Additionally, a famous trout sashimi restaurant featured on TV is located right in front of our valley-side home; you can easily enjoy a meal there with an advance reservation. It is a place where you can relax in nature while enjoying a variety of experiences.

The harmonious view of the pavilion, waterwheel, and sunlight visible through the large living room window—framed by the valley—looks literally like a picture. The silence, contrasted with the constant sound of birdsong, brings an indescribable sense of peace and stability to the mind. I highly recommend this place for a healing getaway. However... ^-^;;; If you visit in mid-summer, I strongly advise preparing for an onslaught of mosquitoes and swarms of mayflies. ^-^ And the invasion of large moths... is that a "bonus" feature? ^-^;;; It would be a great idea to bring a mosquito net to set up around the pavilion. I definitely want to come back here after autumn passes. ^-^~ Thanks to this place, my sibling and I had a wonderful, healing time.
I had a comfortable and relaxing stay.
I stayed here for two weeks, from the first week of May through the third. I was welcomed by beautiful flowers in the yard; while the spring drought meant I missed the sound of rushing water from the nearby stream, the fresh air, the sounds of birds and frogs—and even the occasional visiting cat—made it a truly healing experience. The supplies provided by the host were incredibly useful, and the bedding was especially wonderful. I enjoyed plenty of barbecues during my two-week stay. I really wished I could have stayed longer, but my schedule wouldn't allow it. I had a truly relaxing time—thank you!
