This is a room on the second floor of a spacious detached house near the back gate of Sangji University. It was recently occupied by a newlywed couple who moved out for a new opportunity, leading to its conversion into a short-term rental. As my parents and I use this space while traveling between Seoul and Wonju, it is set up with a minimalist approach, containing only the essentials. While basic items we use ourselves (such as towels and a hair dryer) are provided, please note that this is not a hotel; depending on the situation, basic toiletries (toilet paper, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.) may not be stocked. Enjoy your trip to Wonju while relaxing comfortably in this spacious, private setting without worrying about others.
Transportation is excellent. It is a one-minute walk from the back gate of the Sangji University campus.
- As I am sometimes away from Wonju, the check-in process is typically contactless. - The door lock code will be provided once your stay is confirmed. - You will be using the second floor (a private residential unit), while the first and third floors consist of studio apartments; please be considerate of your neighbors. - You are free to use all items within the unit, provided they are returned to their original condition. - While the ideal occupancy is 3 people, the space is large enough to accommodate up to 6 guests. Please contact me separately if your group size is between 4 and 6 people. (The base rent remains the same, but the maintenance fee will be adjusted upward.) - Amenities include air conditioning in both bedrooms, a Wi-Fi-enabled TV, etc. [Important Notices] - Our family are non-smokers. - Indoor smoking is strictly prohibited (as is standard practice in Korea). If caught smoking indoors, you will be required to check out immediately and a 330,000 KRW deduction will be made from your deposit. Please apply only if you agree to this policy, including the deduction of the 330,000 KRW deposit if signs of indoor smoking—such as lingering odors or cigarette butts—are discovered during post-checkout cleaning. - Pets are not allowed (violation will result in a 330,000 KRW deduction from the deposit).
Since it is located right in front of the university district, all essential amenities are available.
Please note that additional charges may apply upon check-out if electricity or gas is used excessively. (This is especially relevant if the heating is turned up too high during winter, resulting in an exorbitant gas bill.)
