Jongno is located near Bugaksan Mountain, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Cheongwadae, and as Seoul's premier business district, it is the best location for sightseeing, business, and relaxation. Harim Gak and the Convention Center are across the street, so it would be a good idea to make a reservation if there is a large event.
