First of all, this place was affordable considering its location compared to others. There is always a reason for a low price. You might regret it if you assume it will be perfect just by looking at the photos. Pros: 1. Great location and transportation. 5–7 minutes to the bus stop or station. 2 minutes to the local village bus. Market: 5–7 minutes away; it has everything and prices are lower than in other neighborhoods. The airport limousine bus stop is a 2–3 minute walk away. 2. The room is clean. The size matches the dimensions listed on the SamsamM2 platform. You might be disappointed if you expect it to be spacious based on the photos. (Everyone tends to take photos that make a space look bigger, after all.) It’s small, but it includes a table, a chair, a fridge, a microwave, and an electric kettle. 3. The kitchen is clean. It has basic tableware, but it’s fine for simple meals. 4. Cleaning supplies are provided. They seem adequate for cleaning a small room. 5. A convenience store is just a 1–2 minute walk away, which was very convenient. There are also many good restaurants nearby. Cons: 1. I stayed in a first-floor room. It has two windows facing a single-car parking spot. A car is parked there almost all day. There isn't much coming and going, but it still bothered me a bit. The windows are made of frosted glass, but there are no curtains, so a female tenant might feel uncomfortable. 2. I stayed during the mid-summer monsoon season, so it was very humid. It was helpful to keep the air conditioner's dehumidifier function on whenever I was home. 3. The bathroom and shower area are quite small. Since there is no window, mold grows quickly if the bathroom isn't dried after a shower. I kept the bathroom exhaust fan running all day and gave the floor a quick scrub with a brush every 2–3 days; that seemed to solve the mold issue. 4. The fridge looks brand new, but it makes some noise. However, since the fridge—which would normally be in the kitchen— is located right in the small room, this is likely an issue in all the studio units here. I didn't have any major issues during the three weeks I was there, as long as I slept with foam earplugs.
