Palgong. ㅡ It consists of a main building and a separate annex (both with bathrooms). ㅡ A cozy, quiet home perfect for healing and creative work. ㅡ Convenient access to downtown Daegu and Chilgok. ㅡ Features a large yard and an exceptional view. ㅡ Offers a "Little Forest" and retro vibe. ㅡ Although it is an older house, it has been remodeled for modern convenience. ㅡ Great for a month-long stay with children. ㅡ Fully equipped with most necessary amenities. ㅡ Beautiful in all four seasons. ㅡ Being in a pristine mountain area, insects may occasionally get inside. We take pest control seriously and have repellents ready for use.
ㅡIt is a 30-minute drive from Daegu Esiapolis. ㅡYou need a personal vehicle.
ㅡ Check-in and check-out are based on 12:00 PM. ㅡ Maximum occupancy is 4 people (2 adults, 2 children). Please contact us separately if the group is larger. ㅡ You are required to clean up and dispose of trash upon check-out. ㅡ Compensation is required for any damage to property. ㅡ Smoking is prohibited indoors.
ㅡ You can enjoy local attractions and restaurants, including Hantijae Pass, Songlimsa Temple, Gasan Fortress, and Palgongsan Mountain. ㅡ Creatives are welcome. ㅡ Pets (dogs and cats) are allowed, but they are restricted to the separate annex building. ㅡ The water pressure can be adjusted via the meter.
For rentals of one month or longer, electricity and gas charges are based on actual usage.
The mountain scenery and views were wonderful, and I enjoyed a truly relaxing stay without being bothered by noise or the surroundings. I liked it so much that I extended my stay by an extra day. Situated at a higher elevation than expected, it was cool even in summer; the air was fresh, the stars were plentiful, and—surprisingly—there were hardly any bugs or mosquitoes. Thanks to the open wooden deck (daecheongmaru), I could simply set up a chair and sit there all day long; I didn't even feel the urge to go anywhere else. Although the room and living area weren't particularly large, I stayed there without any inconvenience. The *gondre-bap* (thistle rice) restaurant recommended by the owner was so delicious that I visited it twice. It was the kind of place I’d love to return to for another rest.
